Our story

Guesthouse Osvald welcomes you to the heart of the Upper Karniola region in north of  Slovenia, near lake Bled and Julian Alps. Our guesthouse was built in the time of Austrian Empire in 19th century and has been receiving guests since.

It's situated at the northern end of Ljubljana basin, with commanding views of surrounding fields and mountain peaks which include mountain Triglav and Karavanke ridge and centered in the heart of a stretch of old villages historically called the region of Kasharija, one of them being a birth place of the country's greatest poet France Prešeren.

Location of guesthouse is suited for all manner of outdoor pursuits and with easy access to Lake Bled, Radovljica and Triglav National Park. Whether it is an energetic day exploring the mountain routes or a relaxing afternoon tea on the terasse, Guesthouse Osvald is the perfect place to escape, relax and explore.
